Seibu Ryu practices the art of Iai-battojutsu. It is a traditional Japanese martial art that focuses on self-discipline and technical proficiency. The term comes from combining two styles, 'Iaido' and 'Battojutsu', with each focusing on different aspects within the world of swordsmanship.
Where Iaido tends to incorporate a strong philosophical and spiritual approach, Iai-battojutsu tends to be more down-to-earth focusing on technique and simple execution (typical of Battojutsu styles). That said, the philosophical attitudes generally associated with Japanese martial arts ('Budo') strongly underlies the art and can be felt in every aspect of study.
